From hobby to business...

Ivy Grace (named after our daughter) began in 2021 after I rediscovered my love of jewellery making whilst at home with our two young children.
I have always been creative and when younger loved making and mending jewellery. I could spend hours in bead shops admiring gemstones and charms, thinking of the next thing I could create.
After working in the NHS for over 10 years as a critical care nurse, I relocated with my family to West Sussex. We had our second child and I then found myself trying to fit in shift work, looking after the children and managing a house renovation. It was at this point that making jewellery became my way to relax and allowed me time to switch off from everything else and be creative.
I quickly realised how much I loved designing and making jewellery so began to teach myself more through online tutorials and workshops. I would make jewellery for myself and also for friends and family, until one day my husband suggested, "why don't you start a business?".
My vision at Ivy Grace is to create jewellery that is unique and delicate with a focus on high quality materials. Many hours have gone into researching and testing out different materials so that I can produce beautiful, demi-fine jewellery at an affordable price.
In 2022 I began to work on Ivy Grace full time. Now that both our children are in school I am excited to spend more time growing my small business and continuing to learn as I go.
Sustainability has always been an important aspect of what I do and I aim to keep all of my products and packaging as environmentally friendly as possible. My packaging is all free from plastics and is reusable or recyclable.
I hope you can enjoy wearing the jewellery I make as much as I enjoy creating it!
